In the men’s category, Puerto Rico, Switzerland, Canada and Russia advanced from Pool A to the last 16 round while USA, China, Czech Republic and Bulgaria joined them in the Last 16 Stage from the Pool B. From pool C, Argentina, France, Latvia and Lithuania advanced to the next round and from pool D Germany, Spain, Poland and Turkey advanced to the round of 16.
